I have tried to stop this place emailing me whenever anyone posts, replies or posts, despite this I'm still getting, I have tried shut down any posts, threads to me or anything but I still get emails ..

If you edit your profile there is a setting that says to email replies

Believe me I've tried, now very few compared to last but still odd one gets thro..

When you turn off email notifications globally, you may still get them for existing threads. I'd had to root around to find how to turn it off for existing threads.
