I wake up diabetic

I was like this yesterday

It’s the same again tomorrow

I’m diabetic all the way



Thoughts of how I’m living

What am I going to do

Will temptation pay a visit

I haven’t got a clue



Diabetes brings surprises

While I’m doing all I can

I’m leading from the heart today

And sticking to the plan



I’ll be sleeping diabetic

When I’m slipping off to bed

Proud to have a good day

As I lay down my head
