Hi,

A friend has recommended that I try Stevia instead of sugar and/or other artificial sweeteners .

Does anyone else use it?
Is it actually as good as they say, no calories, does raise blood sugars etc?
Would you recommend swapping to it?

Thanks

Miss D 🙂

Haven't used it but seen it recommended and watched a food testing programme recently on some obscure digital channel (Community maybe) where one of the presenters travelled to South America and found out how stevia is produced. Natural plant that they farm and reduce down to a white powder (South America's big on that kind of thing 🙄 ). Vastly more sweet than sugar. Programme gave thumbs up as natural, no additive, sweetener. If I remember the programme, I'll edit this. 🙂

Have a look at web & lots of say "The Dangers of Stevia". Have never tried & dont know what they are on about but have a look 🙂
