i have started using Stevia leaf sweet granules from Waitrose in my tea and coffee. Does anybody else use it and if so do you think it is ok?

I use stevia sometimes. Haven't noticed any probs with it.

My answer to that particular question was to get used to drinking tea and coffee without sugar. In fact I did that before I developed diabetes. After a month sweetened drinks tasted vile. It makes it so much easier in restaurants and when visiting folks.

I'm with @mikeyB on that one..... I live in perpetual sweetener hell when out with my wife.... She should know better & have a stash of her current favorite when out....
