A seventh patient who died at Stepping Hill Hospital is believed to have been poisoned with insulin.
It is now thought Beryl Hope, 70, who died in August 2011, was given contaminated products. It is not known whether it contributed to her death.
Police are reviewing a number of cases at the hospital between June and July 2011. Six deaths in that period have been linked to contaminated saline.
A nurse arrested in relation to the cases was bailed in March.
Victorino Chua, 46, was arrested on suspicion of murdering three patients and causing grievous bodily harm with intent to 18 others at the hospital.
