I was at the diabetic clinic today and there was a discussion about statins. I did take them for one year and ended up in hospital as my CK (?) levels should have been 200 and mine were over 10,000. I spent one night in hospital on a drip. The nurse said I should speak to my GP about other alternatives. I am 64 years and type 2. I would welcome your views
Thank you
