Morning, Just waiting to see what the day brings me. I mean that in a very positive way. Had a good weekend, nice and well not quiet but not hectic either.
Discovered that certain foods if I have too much give me excessive wind in my chest. I found that if I have a lot of Rye bread. I discovered years ago that having a lot of brown bread gave me that and bran as well. In moderation. On Sunday I had white bread for breakfast (ran out of oatmeal bread):(. The rest of the day I felt I overate more. Rectified that in time for brekkie this morning though.🙂. Mood-wise I feel great. I have been drinking soya milk (unsweetened). I discovered almond milk, hazelnut milk -very nice. It doesn't leave the aftertaste that normal milk does - pleasant change. I haven't tried rice milk yest but I will do....Feeling full of energy at the moment.

Good to hear Rustee 🙂 I haven't had white bread in the house for years now. Once a month or so I get 5 loaves of Burgen soya and linseed and stick them in the freezer 🙂 I bought some soya milk to try ages ago bu never tried it - I think it probably expired in November 2010 so I should probably take it out of the fridge and throw it away! 😱

You should give soya milk a try. I prefer it to semi-skimmed milk. No aftertaste.
I found that cow's milk made my throat feel phlegm-like (yuk):( Almond milk is good too. I find that if I have a lot of nuts it came make me cough a wee bit.

Hubby has a dairy intolerance, so we have soya milk for baking and making desserts with. A couple of weeks ago I made a very indulgent trifle and used soya for the custard and the topping and left the sugar out of the custard. Everyone enjoyed the trifle and siad how much better it was than anyone elses. We let everyone in on the secret after all the trifle had been eaten.

I started to buy the almond milk for dad. He doesn't drink glasses of milk but sometimes after cross training he has a small glass and preferes it to the skimmed milk I buy.
