AN NHS Trust is losing nearly one in 20 working days to sick leave.
The Humber NHS Foundation Trust, which provides mental health support to Hull and East Riding, saw 4.57 per cent of working days in April, May and June this year taken off sick.
The data, released by the Health and Social Care Information Centre, reveals the average for England is only 3.85 per cent and 4.13 per cent for Yorkshire and the Humber.
