Hi, I'm T2

So as the title says I'm experiencing some stabbing pains in my feet.

My BGs are around 7.4 and I just had my first annual foot check about three weeks ago and everything seemed ok however I'm noticing an increasing amount of times where my feet, mainly my left, is cramping or it feels like a stabbing pain normally on the underside of my foot on a daily basis maybe 4-5 times a day. It doesn't matter what shoes I'm wearing or if I'm not wearing anything.

Should i be going to my doctor about this? Could it be diabetes related?

Thank you
B x

I’ve occasionally had cramps in my legs and occasionally cramp-like feeling under the sole of my feet, it was more frequent when I was distance running so I didn’t think mine was diabetes related to be honest. I just made sure I stretched and looked into general advice for avoiding cramp.

But I agree with @grovesy - as it’s quite frequent or if you are concerned, then call nhs 111 or book an appointment with your GP

Have you checked where the stabbing pain is to make sure there's nothing there irritating it or a small cut/dry hack?
