My fundraising for diabetes uk is going well, am at 34% of my target raised.

It's a shame someone who sponsored me called it an unworthwhile charity to raise money for!!!

I hope the tesco partnership raises more awareness!

So what are they sponsoring to do?? and whats your target?

Must admit before i was diabetic, i knew nothing about it. But with all the media on it, now people assume its just because you eat to much. So you just wont win.

I'm doing the leeds walk run by DUK.
My target is ?1,000.

I hope I reach it but not sure.

Yeah he made comments saying is it coz I eat too much.

Last time i did a sponsor, it was a 100 mile bike ride for cancer reserch, the day before the ride, my daughter was diagnosed with it, she's ok and through it now though. The hard part was getting the money from people after. We raised just over ?1400.
