Somhow over the course of the past year I seem to have aquired 6 BG meters, 3 of which I would now consider spare as they are not supported by my GP. what is the best thing I can do with them. 2 of them have been used, 1 is new in an opened box. can anyone make use of them?

I have been carefull so none have been contaminated with the red stuff.

1. Bayer Contour Next, new in opened box with unopened box of 10 strips dated 01/2018, Lancing device, lances and case.
2. Glucomen Areo, with a tub containing a few strips and some unused lances but no lancing device and case.
3. Glucomen LX Plus, with a tub containing a few B-Ketone strips dated 31/12/17, Case and USB data transfer cable

I would bin them. Why?, because unless you can calibrate them accurately they could be giving out any old reading which isnt good for type 1s.
