South Yorkshire volunteers have won a special award for raising awareness of diabetes in their community.
The Rotherham Diabetes Group takes part in fundraising activities and recently organised an awareness day to help sufferers manage their condition better.
Members were rewarded for their efforts with the Voluntary Group prize at Diabetes UK?s Inspire Awards ceremony, which was attended by the group?s chairman, John Sargeant, and secretary Terry Fuller.
