Anyone interested in a meet up in the Cardiff area? I went to the last meeting of the local diabetes group in Cardiff and left entirely underwhelmed so won't be going again.

I’d love to meet some fellow diabetics and Cardiff is just down the road from me. The pressure’s on tho Edgar not to be underwhelming LOL. 🙄 Anyone else interested?

Me underwhelming!. Nah😉

I wonder if it would be worth combining with Sally's Cheltenham Meet? Fairly easy to reach from Cardiff by train 🙂 We've never actually had a meet in Wales because we've found it difficult to get enough members from the area who are interested, unfortunately.

Sounds okay to me. Trains from Cardiff to Cheltenham fairly regular . Anyone else interested?

Hello, Edgar, it would be good if you could make the Cheltenham meet. Do you have a preference for dates? Perhaps I should ask you on the Cheltenham thread, so we get a complete picture there.

Hahaha, I was thinking that 4 hours on a train (to Cheltenham and back) was a bit much, especially since - in my most recent experience - UK trains are prone to delays. 😛:D🙂

@Edgar I’ll put some more details up in the south west thread. We’ve gone for 7 April: of you are interested maybe you could let me know if 7th suits?

Ah shame. I know it’s a good run through from Cardiff but understand it’s a distance. Take a look at the South West thread though just in case you do decide you want to make the trek
