My company seems to want to send me for a business trip to Seoul. Which may seem nice, but no doubt I won't have time to see anything other then airport, taxi, hotel, meeting room and perhaps a wander to find some food.

Other then the fact I need to check if I'm due any boosters with my GP, the one thing that is concerning me is the food.

Other then the usual don't want to eat too much carbs my tummy is not happy right now and I'm not supposed to be touching anything spicy or alcoholic or caffeine (two out of three isn't bad).

Has any other been there recently, or even lives in Korea, and has any idea what sort of food options might be present?

I am afraid Seoul was one of the most difficult places in Asia for food for me.
It is generally healthy, like Japanese food, but I don't like the tastes. Quite a lot of strong flavours, some spice, some pickled, some fermented.
I had a card made by a Korean friend because I had a problem with meat, especially fatty pork.
닭 가슴살
it says chicken breast, and that was a passport to things that were better.
I did love rice cooked in iron pots, the rice becomes brown and baked, quite different, but these days I would cut back on that.
