BG at 3.30pm was 9.2 so I did the correction suggested by my meter ie .9 and have increased basal from 70 to 80% - but now wondering if the increased basal is a good idea as I was at 5.7 at 1am last night at 70% basal.
 
Well you've got time to see what trends your BGs follow for the rest of the afternoon/evening. You can always reduce it again later on if necessary.

I was just having a quick look at your 'basal changes' thread, and my initial impression was a general rise in the early hours. Will take another look.
