Was just after some advice from you guys regarding my lips, there so dry and cracked and it even hurts when i smile which aint much at the minute 🙄.So far have tryed lypsyl and vaseline with aleo vera, is they anything else anyone can reccommend..Thanks

Drink lots of cool drinks. AVoid tea and coffee cos the heat will dry your lips.

With me, it's always a sign of dehydration. But vaseline, etc should help to soften them in a couple of hours or so.🙂

Hi Steffie,

gently exfoliate your lips with wet facecloth and then smooth on any of the above you should feel a difference right away:D don't lick your lips it is the worst thing you can do 😱

Steffie - sorry to be predictable but what you need is "lip service" from Lush - a little tin of lip stuff that works wonders. I had the painful smile situation too and so prised the whole of the lip service from the tin (easier when it's cold) and smeared it all over my lips and the corners of my mouth - I have never had the problem again. It's 4.99 for a tin. Hope you soon feel better.xx

Hi Steffie,
If you can find some Lucas Pawpaw ointment, it will help. It's an Aussie thing but I have seen it in some pharmacies/health food shops in the UK.
...maybe I should start inporting it and make my millions that way.....
Hope you feel better soon

Thanks for all the suggestions girls, shall look into them.... flutter you and lush your worse then me haha

Hi Steffie
I swear on the use of Blistex - the original one thats medicated so has a great tingling sensation!!! I dont find Vaseline and Lypsyl do any good for me.

My son had the same problem a couple of weeks ago - cracked and dry lips and sore at the corners (not a cold sore). I had him take multivitamins and cod liver oil capsules and to put on lots and lots of good quality lipsalve (with beeswax) and it started to improve immediately.
