My recently diagnosed Dad started his X

-PERT course today, and as I currently unemployed (for over a year) he asked me to go with him.

Great, I can hep him and get a refresher course too.

When I left - I got a call to start a job this coming Monday - but before we get too excited, it is only for 4-6 weeks

I think I should take the job and dad will have to look after himself at the X-PERT course.

It is so long since I worked - I am scared

But the Bank Balance will appreciate the income

I'd take the job, hon. Ask if you can get print outs from the course, and you could go over it with your dad at home. That would cement it in his mind, and you still get a form of refresher?

Congratulations are in order. I'd take the job, your dad will understand and, as you say, your bank balance will feel much better.

Excellent news Hazel! Even though it's only for a short period it will be good to put down on your CV and get you back in the swing of things. Hope that something more permanent comes up very soon afterwards 🙂
