Social groups for pumpers. Oxford

Does anyone know of any social groups for type 1s on pumps, in the Oxford area?

Welcome @Annie R 🙂 Have you tried asking your clinic or GP? I’m not in the Oxford area but I thought I’d ‘bump’ this for you.

Remember too that you can always ‘chat’ to other pumpers here. I’ve had a pump more than 17 years. I currently have a DANA RS 🙂

Thanks for your message. I’ve had a pump for a long time too but it’s the social side/chatting with others in person I was looking for. I live in a neighbouring county so my hospital/GP don’t have the information I’m looking for.

I wonder if Diabetes U.K. have details of local groups? I think they used to.

There’s someone on the forum, and I'm racking my brains to think what his name is, who has a pump and attends the Oxford Churchill hospital for his care. I’ll do my best to think who it is, and get back to you!
