okay so OH been admitted, now it seems it might not be diabetes related, however, as he with my help, has been controlling with diet I am astounded at what he was offered to eat today
I trust that they can sort out what is causing your OHs pain asap. When you can Please let us know he is and how you are too , I think having someone ill or in hospital is very hard on the close family.
Oh yes I remember hospital food so well, it's a nightmare for us isn't it😡
Brekkie is Porridge, cereals and bread (wholemeal if you're lucky)
Dinner is very high carb with a tiny amount of over cooked veg , or a wilting salad with a bread roll and as for pud 😱
Tea is soup and or a sarnie around 6pm.
Have always been lucky in having a loving family who brought food in on my numerous hospital stays. Even on Christmas Day. Considering one consultant told me that food was a big part of recovery. If it is so important sort it out.
