Just had to share as i'm so intensely proud of my husband and sister in law (as most of you on FB (friends) will know lol!

They did the Bupa 10K run yesterday in London, both wearing penguin costumes for JDRF. They ran it in 1hr 18 mins. They finished 8138/9 out of over 13,500 runners. They are up to 160% on their fundraising target, so far raised just under ?1,000 but is likely to go up to around ?1,300 with post donations. To say i'm overwhelmed and proud of them is an understatement!!
 
Well done to both of them, they have done a great job. I'd be proud of them too.
 
i saw this on FB becca i thought their time was fanastic considering the penguin suits !

wow what a brilliant time considering they were wearing fancy dress and well done to everyone who helped them rasie alot of money. this was a nice thread to read through. rachel
