I just wish that all the cash they waste on new and useless ways of delivering insulin was spent on finding a cure. I hope Diabetes UK aren't paying for this - the idea that charitably raised donations ultimately just go to finding new profit lines for pharmaceutical companies is dreadful.

Alternatively, though I don't want insulin up me snitch either LOL - I think it may have benefit for the better delivery of (any) other drugs and the one that sprung to mind for me was the exceedingly painful jab you get to stop you throwing up after a GA, if you are one that suffers that fate like me.

Two choices - painful daily jabs for a week or more or nightly suppository up yer bum. Now the latter upsets quite a lot of folk straight off but personally, I'd opt for it every time just like I did the second time I had to have the drug. However a nasal gel would be brill for that!

I must admit the more I think about it less appealing a Gel like substance in my nostril is!
