In just over a weeks time, me and the little one will be heading off to Disney Paris for a few days. From experience, there are plenty of (expensive) Food options whilst we are there but we need some food for the train journey and possibly some snacks when out.

What I'm looking for is some suggestions of suitable items that are still somewhat calorific, but are lowish in carbs (say, less then 10gCarb/portion) and don't need to be refrigerated.

So far, I've got
- Non-Sweet Apples (particularly child sizes)
- 9bars
- Pork Crackling (break a tooth!)
- Nuts (might have to measure out first)
- Nairns Oatcakes (but they are horrid without butter or cheese on top)

But it would be useful to have a few more items, particularly towards the zero carb area!

Are there any cheese's that you can get away without keeping in a fridge for a few days?

The little one is easy, fill him up with cake and crisps!

If you've got access to an Aldi, they do some 'Speciality' chocolate & nut bars. I get the sea salt or peanut butter ones. These are around 5-7g carb per bar. They also do a cranberry one but that is higher carb at around 16g.

Not sure what to suggest. But jealous that you are going to Disneyland!!! I'm hoping to go back in September.

Nature valley protein bars are my stand by.

Oh and I like plain oatcakes.

Pepperami are pretty low carb.

Fridge raiders has come to mind, but I think they need to be kept cold. You could take a small cooler bag.🙂

How about some of these chilli munchy seed packets? (Fingers crossed I can attach pics)
