Hi All,
I'm sure this has been asked before....
Is there a smart watch that will monitor my BG?
I'm aware you can get apps on the Apple watch and suchlike that link to Libres to download test results but is there a solution that is just watch only?
I know you can monitor blood oxygen levels, blood pressure and so on but BG????
Fed up with doing prick tests - would rather fork out for a device that does the testing for me.

Not currently no.
Apple floated the suggestion that they’d have live glucose monitoring in their latest Apple Watch but the tech isn’t ready yet so they don’t.
There are rumours that it could make an appearance in the next iteration but that it’s likely to be the version after Next which pulls off the technical feat.

The last press release/news story I saw was describing a watch with some kind of sensor underneath (which would need replacing regularly), and the sample prices they were imagining would make it rather similar to existing CGMs. So while there might be some benefit over using an existing CGM, it's not that obvious to me.
