Is it ok to use Slimfast shakes if T2?
I think it all depends, they are based on low calorie being 227cal per portion but they are not exactly low carb at 33g carb of which 21g is sugar.
The soups may be better.
If they are used to replace a meal that may be fine but you wouldn't know unless you test your blood glucose.
I suppose it depends on what you are comparing it to as an option for a meal.
 
@Lyndsey lou Just one shake and a tomato would take me over the limit of carbs per day I set myself.
I could eat protein and fats for my requirements, but I suspect that not eating two perfectly good meals a day but having a shake might get a bit trying.
