Hello all apologies as not been on here in while.

Got my checkup from the nurse last week and results today, All okay but HbA1c has risen to 45 (6.3%) from 5.7. I am sure it is due to insulin resistance as I have put so much weight back on (now trying to get that under control). So starting back the healthy eating I eat to get back into the 5s club.

Hi cazscot, sorry to hear about the rise, but it looks like you know how to tackle it, so I am sure you'll get it back in the 5s next time. I also vacated the 5% club last time, up from 5.6% to 6.2% so I know that - even though it's still a great number - it can be a little disappointing to hear.

Always disappointing isn't it - whatever previous result we are comparing it to. Makes you want to kick the cat (not that I would as he'd get his own back!) Good that you have a plan. I need to get back on the healthy eating myself.
