I am getting a better sleep since starting BP medication. Sleeping at least 4 hours before toilet break. This is great for me as I was up sometimes an hour or mostly 2 hours after falling asleep. Sometimes 6 times a night. I actually feel rested in mornings which is very new to me. Did anyone else find this a benefit and is that what they mean about BP medication helping the kidneys possibly although, test showed my kidneys were back to normal? My BP still isn’t great but I expect the dose it to be increased in review next week.

Some bp meds can actually make you pee more, those that are diuretic type.

It matters not as whatever your on it seems to have helped with your toilet trips, on bp med myself & have been for years, only get up once during night & can sometimes sleep till 5/6am before waking, not bad considering I'm in bed by 10pm.

Yes much better Ty

I’m not sure what advise you’re looking for. You’re not going to reduce your dose if someone else said it didn’t help them, and you already know the dose is going to increase, so I can’t see what information you’re trying to find from this thread.

Hello, I don’t take BP meds. But I have taken BPs during hypo events. (I’m T1. Own a home monitor. Don’t ask why. I just possess one.) the resting normal BP rate rises when I go low? Could be why I’ve always woke when low. Even as a kid.
Let’s call it an “experiment” that I’ve personally observed. My hypo symptoms have always been edgy like I’ve run for a bus.
If anything? I hope my post pushes for further discussion with fellow BP med prescribed.
Regards.
