Good Afternoon,

Had my yearly check-up courtesy of the sleep centre (Charing Cross Hospital).
Went along quite well. Definite improvement since last year. When I had to do the overnight sleep study back in Feb 2011, I woke up 79 TIMES IN ONE HOUR. Thanks Heavens, that is behind me. Nurse asked me what motivated me to lose so much weight. I said the fear of what Diabetes can do if one doesn't respect it. The weight loss is still coming along 🙂. Just feeling positive all round... got my HbA1c test on 2nd July.... will await to see how things are going.....until the next rant....

PS: I discovered that mini-rice crackers and even low salt corn-chips (tortillas) make me ill, gives me stomach upsets.....they are off the menu....more dried fruit and cashew nuts for snacks me thinks....🙂

Great news about the check up Rustee - and good to hear that you have made such progress in just over a year 🙂 Keep up the good work!
