Skinz for meters

Does anyone know if there available to buy?, i want my meter to look less boring and abit diffirent, i saw freestyle do something but its american so i cant buy it over here.🙄

I got some for my Accuchek Aviva from Roche for free, but not sure if they are still available. Not much use anyway if you don't have an Aviva! 🙄

You could try ringing your meter company Steff - even if they aren't on the website. On the Roche website, you have to register and go into 'My Accu-Chek' to access the pump accessories, although the actual pump skinz are on the 'open' website.

Therefore if you don't have an Accu-Chek you can't easily get your hands on em. Bit of a nuisance if someone wants to buy you something as a gift ..... but OTOH I don't think they charge the full cost for things on the basis they are already making money out of you one way or the other - I suppose.

I don't recall ever seeing any skins for meters.

You could always have a go at making your own. If you have a Poundland nearby then they sometimes have laptop skins that you could easily cut to size that could then stick on your meter without damaging it should you wish to remove it at some point.

Sometimes they (Poundland) do skins for the Nintendo DS which tend to be fairly funky designs so as long as you have a pair of sharp scissors you should be OK.
