I hope this is not too silly a question but I have had a nasty cold and sinus infection for the last week I do get these from time to time but seem to have felt a lot worse with it than I have done in the past I wondered if the diabetes could have anything to do with it.

Quite possibly - did your BG shoot up?

I'm not sure because as yet I don't have a monitor hoping to get one at the weekend I have only been diagnosed since early sept doc just told me to book in with the nurse appt is for 18 October
