PHOEBE Maddison’s ambition to top the music charts could become a reality much sooner than she ever imagined.
Her first single has been recorded to raise money for vital research into diabetes, a condition that the yongster herself suffers from.
The nine-year-old, of Groundwell West, travelled to Barry in Wales last month for an eight-hour studio session to produce My Life, a song highlighting the daily struggles facing Type 1 diabetics.
The lyrics to the song are taken from young patients’ own accounts of their condition.
