I think someone else posted about a dodgy few sensors.
So far over the last few days I have had sensors lasting:
4 days -dodgy site of sensor
0 days - never got beyond ‘updating’
2 days - updating …….. replace sensor. (Different box)
Another one in this morning from a (different box again).
My experience of using these new sensors has been good and application is a lot easier than the Guardian 4 but the failure rate is standing at 50%. This is ‘not ideal’ and I hope that they get this sorted and improved. Some issues are out of their control such as bleeds and problems at sensor site but this seems a high failure rate. I am glad that it rejects the sensor where it is in doubt but ….
I am used to having changeover on Sundays and with the Guardian sensors this was a long process with having to charge the transmitter etc. These failures have moved the starting day but that is not such a problem now as the transmitter is integrated with the sensor.
This week has even made me start to wonder whether to go back to just a pump and Libre. However the benefits I have when HCL is working keep me going (so far).
