Mmmm, that's my favourite, can't manage more than two squares at a time, though, which is probably a good thing for my pocket and my waistline!I made a big mistake, I bought a bar of lindt 90%, I love it and it's far too good, hmmm 14g per 100g I'd be tempted to add it in with a meal if I thought I wouldn't be sick after 100g chocolate haha 🙂 x
I eat 90%dark choc ( apart from the taste, which I Love) because it doesn't contain much carb, has fat in it which slows down the absorption of carb, and therefore doesn't spike my blood sugars. You may well find it does the same for you, the only way is to try it and see!Hey both 🙂 I notice that you are both type 1 and I'm type 2 (I don't know if that matters 🙂 but is dark chocolate an "ok" choice? I've seen it mentioned on here quite a few times but just the word chocolate makes me run a mile these days I'm so scared of raising my sugars lol 🙂
It's lower carb many of the type 2's on here have a few squares a day Green and Blacks has 4.5g carbs per 6 squares, Lindt 90% has 2.8g carbs per 2 squares but the squares are much bigger 🙂 xHey both 🙂 I notice that you are both type 1 and I'm type 2 (I don't know if that matters 🙂 but is dark chocolate an "ok" choice? The high percentage choclates have lower carbs than standard ones, so makes they slightly better. As they mainly taste strong you are more likely to eat less of them. I can eat just 2 squares, mostly.Hey both 🙂 I notice that you are both type 1 and I'm type 2 (I don't know if that matters 🙂 but is dark chocolate an "ok" choice? Also if you look at the what did you eat yesterday thread you will see that many of the type 2's enjoy a few squares on a very regular basis, go on treat yourself hun 🙂 xHey both 🙂 I notice that you are both type 1 and I'm type 2 (I don't know if that matters 🙂 but is dark chocolate an "ok" choice? I hate dark chocolate as a rule but recently bought some 50% mint dark chocolate from the Asda and it just tastes like solid After Eights. Doesn't spike me either. It will be my new 'go to' treat 🙂

I'll look out for that, I love mint chocolate 🙂
Awww how lovely my OH came home from work last night with a bar of 90% for me and left himself with 20p in his pocket as he couldn't afford to get me a valentines present 🙂 (well he can he just can't get his money as the bank machine swallowed his card on Monday night) I know it's not funny really but lol 🙂 x
They certainly are, we weren't meant to be bothering with gifts this year anyway but as I was out shopping on Tuesday morning I saw a few cute things so bought them for him anyway 🙂 hopefully his bank card comes through soon though as he won't accept the offer of money from me haha xCaring and thoughtful gestures like that are more important than cheesy Valentines gifts I always think Kaylz 🙂
