I have been on Ozempic for Type 2 Diabetes for multiple years. I have now been told about the shortages. The problem is that any alternatives are also out of stock. Any suggestions what will happen now, GP is struggling to find an alteratio.
 
Which alternatives have you looked at and found out of stock so far? You’ll likely need to change to an alternative type of medication until supply issues are resolved.

Yes unfortunately the shortages are likely to continue into next year. :(

Drs have been told not to start any new people on GLP-1 meds to try to spread the meagre stocks among those who are already using them. But many people are being swapped away to completely different classes of diabetes medications as it becomes more difficult and more unreliable to get the prescriptions filled in different regions :(
