Shopping/type 1

I've been staying in for 11 weeks now. My wife and daughters have been doing all the shopping that I used to do. I give them a list but I miss all the extra things that I would see if browsing. I'm actually very wary of going back out again.

Besides being Type 1, I am also disabled. I get the annual flu jab for health reasons - but I never got a letter telling me that I should be staying in even thought I think I should have got one. I was talking on Zoom yesterday to a friend who did get the letter and she was actually offended at being considered at risk.

I've only been out in the car 3 times, all very local, at quieter times, since this started. I don't think I would cope with queueing to get into a supermarket. It has taken my family an hour at times.
