Just been to hand mine in and they said they don’t take them but took my last one I handed in
 
Welcome @Jamie8899! 🙂 This is a very old thread so might not have up to date information. Have you tried your local council for a collection service?
 
These things change they are not set in stone. You should contact your local council to see what the local system is.

Sorry you’ve been having trouble with your sharps bin.

It does seem to vary from place to place. We had a thread a while back where people compared their experiences, whuch might give you an idea of some of the different systems across the country.


Interestingly I had a sharps bin switchover only this morning. It‘s handled by the city council here, so I can book on their websire and my old one gets collected with a new one left in its place.
