Hello!
I'm a newly diagnosed type 2. I was diagnosed following repeated visits to the GP with infections. I had no obvious symptoms but I suspect that they've built up over time and I may not have recognised them as diabetes symptoms. However for at least 25 years I've not been able to eat certain foods such as breakfast cereals and porridge without feeling shaky and wooly after about an hour of eating. I've always avoided these as a result. When I mentioned it to the doctor she just looked at me and never commented so I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced the same thing?
