Going though home shopping list receipt I found that i had forgotten to order salads. dint forget about carbs things so no salad for me for the next couple of days
last night went back to my room to find i had left my phone in dinning room. Now spot the mistake i decided to call them to let them know
this morning i put my leggings on in a hurry, only for someone to say you have them on inside out
Anyone else have any senior moments?

I recently went to the supermarket.
I was using one of those "zappers" to make it easy to pay at the end.
I filled one bag and then reached into my handbag to get the second bag out. That is when I noticed I had forgotten my wallet with my credit card. I couldn't pay!
My excuse is I rarely use a handbag so my wallet was in my coat pocket and it was too hot to wear a coat.

I had walked to the supermarket so had to walk home. I decided to drive back and take the opportunity to purchase a bunch of heavy things which I couldn't be bothered to lug up the hill on foot.
So it wasn't terrible - I still got my steps in and I got extra shopping that I won't need for over a month - but it was still embarrassing.

I carefully write a shopping list each week, and read it several times on the way round the shop, yet somehow fairly regularly manage to forget something - occasionally it didn’t make it on to the shopping list, but often it’s there quite clearly and I’ve still managed to miss it when checking. Including the meat for that night’s dinner, on more than one occasion!
Went into town with my Mum once, had some photos which needed developing (yes it was quite a few years ago, so I wasn’t anywhere near old enough to be having senior moments) and we thought we’d have a good look round while there. Arrived in the town centre to find that I’d forgotten to bring the film, which was the whole point of going!
Quite often mislay my keys - although usually there are only so many places I might have put them, so they get found again quickly. More often than not in a coat pocket.
My husband recently bought a new pair of glasses, with those lenses which go dark in sunlight, he’d had them less than a month and then went to Bangkok for a few days on business and left them in his hotel room! He’s hopeful he might get them back though, fingers crossed

Yes everyday done the glasses one as well, I’ve even tried to put glasses on while wearing a pair

I will sometimes be looking for something and it is in my other hand! 😱

I particularly panic about keys if they are not in the usual place and once I panic, I either don't look thoroughly or don't see them when I do look, because I am already thinking about how difficult it is going to be to get into my house without them or get home to get the spare car key and then get back for the car or whatever..... or of course, where I might have lost them and how difficult it might be to locate them if it is somewhere outside. It happens to me far too often these days and I am sure this is an age thing!

Oh yes, senior moment almost every day here, Lol.
Going upstairs and then forgetting what you went up there for = check!
Glasses on the top of my head = check!
Forgetting things at the supermarket = check!
As my old Mum used to say...." I'm not old.... I'm just a recycled Teenager!" 😎

I have a senior moment on a regular basis. Friday I decided to change my handbag to a smaller one just before leaving for the theatre. Completely forgot about the tickets in my normal daily handbag. Collected my friend who asked me did I have the tickets (for all four of us). Oops!😱o_O
Quick drive back to my house to pick them up.
Regularly put down trowel or secateurs and forget where I left them.

Yes, I’ve done the changing handbags thing too. Thank goodness our hotel was only a 10 minute walk from the theatre. Nowadays all tickets are on our phones which makes life a lot easier.

However leaving insulin pen behind when on a day trip to London (90 min train journey) was more problematic…

Thanks peeps glad im not the only one to have a moment like this
