Hi,

I want to monitor my sugar levels, but Dr’s say not too. I’m not on medication, but don’t feel great. Been type 2 for nearly two years now.

I can’t afford to self fund the test strips and lances.

Any ideas? I want to know and understand what’s going on with my day to day levels so I can adapt.

Struggling, confused. Lonely. Embarrassed.

Hi,

please dont feel lonely there is always help out there.

do you have a monitor.

A short term solution could be to subscribe to the Libre trial if you have a suitable phone (NFC Is the main requirement).
This will give you 2 weeks of data about what food and activities cause your levels to rise and give you a chance to adapt your diet accordingly.
Unfortunately, this is only a one-off trial.
