Was 8.2 at breakfast about 6.30am, had porridge which might send me low if I don't snack before lunch, so about 10am I had a banana but didn't test as had I cold fingers (that hurts), normally I would have done before eating anything! o_O

Just tested and I am 22.3 😱 And suddenly realised I haven't had my insulin for my breakfast. 😡

I have taken a corrective does, so it will come down, but I am so annoyed as there's no reason to forget.

And I had the best day I have had with levels in months yesterday!

Aagh! 😱 Hope things settle down soon 🙂 We've all done it, because injecting can become such second nature that you can do it whilst distracted by something else - or just distracted and totally forget! 😱 🙂

Don't do it again! 😉 :D

It’s easily done, I did it my self yesterday but no with such spectacular results.
I hope your not feeling to rough and that the correction works well.

Well the cat was neutered on Wednesday so he’s had a cone on. Been having to take it off so he can eat, but then keep a close eye on him as he cannot lick that area. So I was doing that and making porridge at the same time, I’ve got distracted which is annoying. Least I am working from home so the peeing so much won’t be noticeable by anyone else, and I don’t have to get the train home later!

17.7 now so it's coming down 😳 then just need to work out what to eat and what to take at lunch.
I am hungry but is it true hunger or that flase hunger with highs o_O

Try not to beat yourself up, I did the exact same thing a couple of nights ago, except it was dinner instead of breakfast and pasta instead of porridge! Lol. Happens to the best of us 🙂 x

Ooooops! But try not to be too hard on yourself... You aren't the first forum member to have done that, and you certainly won’t be the last. It becomes so routine, that it’s all too easy to get distracted by some little thing and then just carry on like you always would.

Been there, on pens always kept it near kettle so wouldnt forget to inject, do same with pump now, in sight in mind.

You were multi-tasking - and putting your cat first. Go easy on yourself. Hope everything is okay now.
I had to set alarm reminders before I got myself a pill box.
