Cameron Crouse is different than the other boys on his football team. He has Type 1 diabetes. Instead of treating him differently, his teammates have joined Cameron to help raise money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Bryan Marchant, the football coach at Rock Quarry Middle School, said the football team was inspired by how Cameron handled himself and decided to help his fundraising efforts.
“Learning about his convictions and all the fundraising events that he takes part in, the football team just wanted to get in and do something,” Marchant said.
