Interesting, but wouldn't removal of the adrenal gland (if I've read it properly) cause other problems - isn't that the problem that Addison's represents i.e. a lack of cortisol and adrenalin which are normally produced by the adrenal gland?

Wish I knew if you can survive without the gland too.
