Type 2
hello all. Im 41 and have just been told i have type 2 diabetes. I had gestational diabetes 10 years ago but was told after i had my lovely daughter it would go away ! My nurse has given me 3 months to try and get this under control by diet and excercise, spent the first 3 wks in denial! does that make sense! Anyway have spent the last two weeks browsing this site thought it was about time i introduced myself.

hello nickie and a warm welcome to the site , your feelings are exactly the same as most of us on here we all go through that initial period of denial then we gotta pick ourselves up and realise we got it now, we cant do nothing about it accept control it best we can, nice to see you are getting 3 month i only got a month and then was put on the pills , hope it works for you , glad you finally joined x
