Saw a GP today that was about as much use as a chocolate fire guard

Got emergency appoinment and wish I had not wasted my time. Saw the 'Other Diabetic' GP at my surgery - never again.

I'm gonna have to hang fire with my problems until I see my specialist on the 6th August.

Apparently I should stop worrying about BS of 12.2 and 3.5 as that is good control compared to some people he sees!! Not Happy at all 😡

My god what a moron he sounds, stop worrying yeah you try waking in the middle of the night to a hypo silly man.Im the same Dia t my place if i ever see the locum she is useless and it ends up being a waste of my time seeing her, i just hang on and see my proper doctor.The 6th of August is still some time away surely sitting on your problems till then is not going to help xxxhugs
 
That is ridiculous, it is wrong to say that to anyone, but do they not understand with your IVF treatment soon, you want to be as in control as is possible

Tell me bout it.

I did mention the IVf which could be started as soon as end of next week - but just wasn't bothered.

After GP's I popped home cause I need a visit to the little girls room and when I got in the door I realised I was having another Hypo 3.9!!

I'm going to ring the hospital and see if I can get hold of my consultants secretary and see if she can get Dr Issa to call me or bring my appoinment forward again. Originally my next appointment was 20th Aug and they have brought forward.

I'm sick of feeling ill at the moment - I don't need it, especially with the stress and worry of the IVF nearing.
 
Hope you manage to see your consultant early or at least have a chat on the phone for good advice.

I think you were unlucky with the loccum. Some are better than others just as some doctors are better than others.
