Yesterday morning I did sausage sarnies for breakfast. I had 2 types of sausages. Some were 5.9g each & the others were 1g each. Wifey was having the higher carb ones. They looked different when raw, but when cooked they all looked the same. So, no idea who had what sausages! I like to live dangerously.:D

Fantastic thread title - I have to say I had an altogether different image in my mind when saw it... Hope the sausages were yummy. I been very naughty this morning as I brought my porridge in to work (am duty manager at the gallery today) and there were left over danish pastries from a lecture yesterday so the porridge has stayed in my bag.. (well, they would be no good by Monday..) Unfortunately there are some rather nice looking slices of cake left over from an afternoon tea visit too...

The sausages were yummy, whatever ones they were.:D

You and I obviously have naughty minds Steph because I thought the same thing! :D

Wash your minds out with soap!:D

The reference to Russian Roulette reminded me of some home grown chilli peppers I had once. They were grown from the seeds that I scraped out of some peppers that I bought from Asda. The peppers were moderately hot but every so often you would get one that was ferociously fiery. I sliced one of these up and put it on a pizza. After having a couple of slices I had to admit defeat. I picked them all off and ate the rest of the pizza without them

Waste not want not. We are all told not to waste food. ....

Sometimes - just sometimes Mike - I've had to scoff a waste Tunnock's Caramel Wafer. These are dirty jobs indeed, but someone has to do em .......

So do I. Unfortunately, the wife prefers 'cheaper' ones. We each buy our own.🙂

I love sausages but since diagnosis i've tended to buy the Heck 97% meat variety but this weekend i had a craving for one of my own old favourites Morrisons own Pork & Tomato flavour. I don't know the make up of these but i'd been a good boy all week so i didn't care. Had them sunday morning and they tasted wondrously good. I now know what little treats will be heading for my shopping trolley every now and again.
