Good morning,

Another rant from yours truly. Walking in the park today, I realised how bad my diet was a few years ago. Weekdays consisted of sausage in a bap and a sweet caffe-latte, plus a few chocolate shortbread biscuits food good measure. Lunch - hamburger meal and either a milkshake or fizzy drink. By mid afternoon, I was practically sleeping at my desk. Exercise was non-existent. Tube to work then bus and tube back home. Weekends a few of them were either takeaways. i shopped online for my monthly shopping, not realising that the exercise to the supermarket and the carrying of the heavy load wad good for me. That was when the weight really began to pile up......... Oh well, a wee bit older and wiser........just thought I would share

It's surprising what you realise when diabetes forces you to pay more attention to what you are eating, isn't it? Although my diet was reasonable before diagnosis, I'm aware that, four years later, there are some quite significant changes I have made.
