Hi Sam, Just wanted to check that you have checked the carbs for the bratwurst - i dont think they are as high as a normal pork sausage. Is there anything on the packet?🙂Bev

on the carb counter I found it says this about Bratwurst:

Bratwurst, fresh 1 link (about 3 oz.) 1.8 g

Was looking and drooling over the Bratwurst in Sainsburys today but decided not to buy them lol

German sausages tend to be very low in carbs as they do not put in rusk, etc. as a filler. I always check the CHO content of sausages as they vary enormously. Occasionally I fancy a suasage sandwich and I always go to the same shop as the owner sources high meat content sausages which means I can ignore the CHO in them. Others are just to unpredictable. I did in fact start a thread about this just before Christmas:-

They might be low in carbs - but i think they are full of fat!😱🙂Bev
