Five new cases of salmonella have been reported to health professionals in the last week as investigations continue into an outbreak of the illness which has been linked to laverbread.
Public Health Wales said the total number of people affected now stands at 17, although laboratory testing is still underway to confirm whether all cases are linked to the outbreak.
Currently, nine cases have been confirmed as being linked to the outbreak.
