My freezer now has a nice supply of very yummy salmon in it 🙂

My cousin (the poacher - shhhh!) left us some in the garage freezer the other day, so we're set as well. 😳

Actually, I reckon he buys it from Morrison's and just says he caught it.

We are on our third Morissons salmon. We bought our first, minus head and tail, and after watching you-tube boned it. It was very slippery. I then filletted it and into the freezer. Then I find out Morissons will bone it for me, doh! Anyway the second and third salmon (we get through one a month) was boned for us all I have to do is fillet it to the size we like. We eat Salmon and baked potato with a salad twice a week. My colesterol is now 3.5 and its all good cholesterol I was told yesterday.

We bought 2 from Morrisons, filleted and ready for my wife to cook it with a Parmesan and parsley Crust, usually have this on 27th Dec, with crushed new potatoes. It is an Aga recipe by Mary Berry and always goes down well!

Got mine today, got 24 portions for £14 out of one salmon, now vacuum packed and in the freezer along with Morrisons Leg of lamb, also at £4 per kilo.
Got my Bronze turkey from Aldi and finished all the shopping before the kids and grandchild arrive on Christmas Morning.

Good tip about the salmon especially if they'll prepare it for you! 🙂

I bought the half price beef from Tesco recommended on here...didn't expect great shopping tips too!
