Thanks for highlighting this. Made me wonder what advantage it would be to me so took a look at https://www.ofgem.gov.uk/informatio...getting-extra-help-priority-services-register and could only see this:
  • Wherever possible, advanced notice of scheduled power cuts. If you rely on your energy supply for medical reasons your network operator can tell you about planned power cuts. For example, when they plan engineering work.
Given insulin lasts 30 days out of the fridge and if I was out of power for that long, I would have other more urgent needs, I will leave the priority to others.
