You need to give more information before anyone could give a considered reply.
What diabetic Type are you, what meds do you take, is your blood glucose well controlled, do you finger prick test or do you have a Libre or similar.

Can I pass a SAFETY CRITICAL FITNESS TEST for working on highways driving plant machinary???
If you have the required driving licence for it there is no problem is there?

It's more complicated, as it involves driving in circumstances that could be dangerous to other persons.

"Safety Critical Medicals must include the following:
• Blood Pressure
• Glucose
• Musculoskeletal Assessment (movement)
• Vision (Distance and Colour)
• Audiometry
• Lung Function
• General Health Questionnaire"

BG control is obviously a consideration.
The best person to ask is the doctor who will be doing the assessment.
And they vary considerably unfortunately.
